Amsterdam, 19 of March 2009. Beatle John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono stayed in the Hilton Amsterdam hotel during their honeymoon in March 1969 and stayed in bed for 7 days in room 1902, also known as room 902, now The John & Yoko Suite (room 702). During this ‘Bed-in for Peace’ they spoke about peace with the international press and their message touched millions worldwide. This historical action, 40 years ago, will be set in contemporary perspective in photo exhibitions, musical and litery events. All are linked with the themes Peace and the Netherlands. The Bed-In for Peace An impression from the exhibition.
