Amsterdam, November 3rd 2007. Opening of the exhibition with recent work of Leif Sylvester (Danmark 1940). There are no princes, no gold at the end of the rainbow in artist's paintings. Leif Sylvester has always been able to see through our mental barricades disclosing our self-sufficient, vain egos. As such there is no hope of salvation. I saw in his work a new Cobra aspect. An impression.
